Yolande was a brilliant gregarious cheerful Dutch woman always hospitable,cheerful very active cycling every where :¬] she said

Born on what was to become liberation day (in Holland) the same year that the 2nd world war broke out.
She lost both Parents before she was 5.. through cholera Just as the war came to a close!
Yolande was my very best friend from the moment we met.
. The end came mercifully swiftly...But so unexpected!
Within 5-6 weeks of diagnosis!
My lovely friend and confidante passed away before our eyes without chemo or ops it was all too late!
Yolande is missed by so many Especially ME -
I miss calling her and hearing her voice over the phone! I miss her laugh & I could cry with heartache....have done a lot in the first & second year after her death...
She was a self sufficient woman with a heart of gold & an absolute diamond !
Yolande was ALMOST 66 when she died (after midnight) on the 26th April 2005!
..Now she is Yolande no more..
Within my heart & soul I treasure her memory-the Love she gave me is what remains -I am privileged to have had her friendship...
